Clear Lake Iowa Obituaries: May 1895 -Emma E., wife of O.A. Benner, died Monday afternoon at the family residence nine miles southwest of town. This is a peculiarly sad case, the deceased leaving seven children, the youngest, a baby only three weeks old, and the sympathy of the community towards the husband and motherless children is very touching. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Carter, were held Wednesday forenoon at the North Side Congregational church, Union township, of which church deceased was a member. Interment in Clear Lake Cemetery. Mrs. Benner was 37 years old at her death and was married February 15, 1880.
