My early Mickel family settled in Kinderhook and Livingston in Columbia Co.Johan Nicolas Michael/Michel came from Mainz, near Wiesbaden Germany in 1709 to the US.later generations shortened the name to Mickel, Mickle, my branch came to Delaware Co. Thomas Whitfield Mickel is my husband, Laurin's, great-grandfather and Adam his gg-grandfather. Laurin is descended through Thomas' daughter, Emma Louisa Mickel, who married William Thomas March. We show Thomas Mickel being married to Mary Pottertown and Adam Mickel being married to a Rebecca. You probably got the post from Sandra Beskowl who is related to Rebecca and she's a Guffin? She has the same birthdate for Rebecca that we do so I think she's talking about the same people. We don't have much information, but would love to exchange with you.
