                       Bapptism:  See Ltr #407- The baptism date of William Smuin is after his endowment date.  This is the way the IGI File has it recorded.
                  

                       Baptism Date:  There is norecord in the IGI files of the original baptism of Mary Jane Smuin. Consequently, someone has done a proxy baptism for her as recorded in the IGI on 24 Feb 1910 in the Logan Temple.
                  

                       BIRTH: Note:  Social Security records report date of birth as 5 Sep 1891, two years earlier than family records.  As sometimes people were anxious to receive benefits, ages were advanced for social security records.  We chose to stay with the date of 5 Sep 1893 as recorded in the family records. See Ltr # 418      (SS report).
                  

                       Note:   Baptism date is after endowed date.  This is the way it is recorded in the IGI files.  Apparently there is no record of his baptism as a child, although one most certainly would have occured.
