Deseret News extract: Reuben Fredrick King, 49, employee of the Utah Copper Company at Magna, died in a Salt Lake Hospital at 3:50 pm, Saturday, following a three weeks illness of pneumonia. Mr. King was born in Salt Lake City, 2 Nov 1886, a son of Thomas and Eliza Pratt King. He had been a locomotive crane engineer for the Utah Copper Co. for the last 20 yrs. He was married to Mary Manning in Lehi in 1906 and soon after his marriage, moved to Magna. Surviving are his widow, three sons, Donald L, George F., and Ernest G. King, all of Magna; three daughters, Miss Patsy L. King, Magna; Mrs. M.J. Magness and Mrs Leslie Holt, Salt Lake City; three sisters, Mrs. Carry Pringle, Los Angeles, Cal; Mrs. Ellis Stocking, Paul, Ida; and Mrs. Leona Mabey, Riverton; and four brothers, George H. King, Paris, Ida; Charles King, Grace, Ida; Wildord King, Georgetown, Ida; and Francis King, Burley, Ida. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm, Wed, in Pleasant Green Ward chapel in Magna.
