    8. Newspaper Obituary extract: George Clifford King. Montpelier - George
    Clifford King, 79, died Saturday at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in
    Montpelier.
    He was born Oct 21, 1908 in Montpelier, to George Henry and Catherine Hayes
    King.
    He married Vilare Morgan Sept 21, 1933 in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Jan
    24, 1939.
    He married Donna Bee Sept 12, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
    He was a lifelong resident of Bear Lake Valley, having lived in Paris,
    Lanark, Liberty and Montpelier. During his lifetime he worked at a variety of
    occupations, including ranch work, sawmill work, farming and railroad work. He
    retired from the Union Pacific Railroad Jan 3, 1973, after 31 years of service.
    He was an active member of the LDS Church and a member of the Montpelier 2nd
    Ward, where he held many positions. He was a high priest at the time of his
    death.
    He is survived by his wife of Montpelier; one daughter, Mrs. Kirk (Colleen)
    Jensen, of Murray, Utah; two sons, George W. King, Salt Lake City; and Robert
    C. King, Taylorsville, Utah; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Lester King,
    Montpelier; and one sister, Mrs. Darwin (Edith) Taylor, Layton, Utah.
    Funeral Services were held today at 1 pm in the Montpelier 2nd Ward
    Bennington Chapel, in Bennington, Idaho. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery.
