                   RESEARCH NOTES:
    1. On the tombstone of her son, Levi Hammon, located in Wilford, Freemont County, Idaho Cemetery it says that Levi's mother was Mattlena (Magdalena) Richardson. The reason for this discrepancy may be that Richardson was her maiden name and Richter her married name, or the other way around.  Magdalena was a widow with one daughter at the time she married Daniel.

       In the index her husband Daniel Hammon is listed as David.
     1860 OHIO CENSUS of Homer Township in Medina County.
        Daniel and Magdalena have their son George and George's wife Mary living with them.
     1870 IOWA CENSUS of White Oak Township in Warren County.
         Daniel and Magdaline are living with son George and his wife Mary.
