RESEARCH NOTES: 1. William was in the 1820 Rutherford Census but not in the 1830 Census. 2. His widow, Mary Bynum was adjacent to John Bynum in 1840. 3. His widow, Mary, and children were legatees of his father's estate in 1841. 4. The widow, Mary, and children then sold the land.
He married Elizabeth Sear Abt 1783 at Orange, North Carolina . Elizabeth Sear was born at North Carolina 1761 .
