    1. Vincent had been in the infantry for 7 years when in 1917 or 1918 he was drafter into WW. He requested an exemption from this duty as he had a wife and three small children to support. He did not receive said exemption and went to war, dying in one of the battles in France. He was 27 years of age.
BURIAL:
    Vincent is buried in the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial at Belleau, Departement de L'Aisne, Picardie, France. A memorial has been placed in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.
