DEATH: Ensley's name is spelled Ashley Brown on the file cover of his probate records, but it is spelled Ensley Brown in the actual probate documents. His son Nathaniel and widow, Sarah, are named in these probate records. NOTES: 1. Ensley was a soldier in the Revolutionary War in the New Hampshire Continental Line. He fought in the Battle of Bunker's Hill on 17 June 1775.
