1. Taught school (English) at Young Harris College. Was interim president for a while there.
BURIAL:
Uncle Spec, who handled most of the funerals in Oconee County beought him down to Johnson's Church for the burial, but found that one of Aunt Mabel's boys had paved over the plot with cement by mistake. So Spec had his crew dig a hole for him on Aunt Mabel's plot. They dug the hole deep and buried him casket on end, and placed a thin marker on the grave.
