John ROYER
NOTES: 1. In 1822 John left Pennsylvania in a wagon and came to Stark and Summit Counties for about four years, then went to Wayne County where in 1828 he left for Thompson Twp., Seneca County, Ohio where he bought 480 acres of land among the tribe of Seneca Indians. 2. This was a pioneer life of felling trees, spinning flax, flaying wheat to harvest. 3. Here he built a log house and the first log Reformed Church.

DEATH: Cause of death was gangrene. NOTES: 1. Samuel and Mary Ann settled on a farm in April 1833 which they cleared and improved.
