The Will of David ap Morgan of Kilken(Cilcain)
   	In the name of God Amen, The one and twentieth day of June 1640. I David ap Morgan of Kilken [Cilain] Diocese of St. Aseph being sicke of body but of perfect memory God be praised do make my last will and testament in manner & forme following fyrst I comend my soule to God my maker and redeemer & my body to be buried in christian Burial.
	Item: I give and bequeath two shillings toward the reparation of Kilken church.
Item: I give and bequeath to my son Edward Morgan one chest wherein I usually keep my writings, one table, one frame & the bench betwixt the table & the wall, all lying in the hall & all my silver buttons being two dosen or there abouts.
	Item: I give and bequeath to my son Edward one bed case standing in the parlour.
	Item: I give and bequeath to my daughters Jane, Margaret, Elizabeth and Katherine all the standing corne due unto me growing in a clause or pacel of land called Gwar Llwyn Tudyr lying
in b[    Llly] moie to be equally divided betwixt my said foure daughters.
	Item: I give and bequeath to my grandchild Griffith Edward one cupboard standing in the hall,
	Item: I give and bequeath to my grandchild Gwen one young calfe.
	Item: I give and bequeath to Catherine, my son Johns daughter, one young calfe.
              Item: I give and bequeath to my son John the house wherein I now dwell and all the gardens and lands with apurtenances belonging to the house being in possession for one whole year next after my decease.
              Item: I give and bequeath to my son thyrtie pounds of lawful English money to be payd at the feast of St. Michael. the archangel next to come.
              Item: I give and bequeath unto Thomas Morgan my son the house wherein I now dwell and all the lands belonging to it same for the space of the second year after my decease.
	Item: I do give and bequeath to everyone of the children of my son Edward xii d a peece.
	Item: I do give and bequeath to the children of my daughter Jane xii d a  peece.
              Item: I do give and bequeath to the children of Margaret xii d a peece and foure measure of barlely.
              Item: To the children of Elizabeth my daughter xii d a peece.
              Item: I give to the children of Katherine my daughter xii d a peece. The rest and residue of all my goods, cattles and chattles moveable and unmoveable I give and bequeath to Thomas Morgan 	with the moytie or one halfe to Gwen my wife.
              Item: I give and bequeath to my son John all my right clayme & title to the house and parcel of land called Gwar Llwyn Tudyr after All Saints next to be holden for the terme of years unexpired.
	Item: I nominate and appoint Thomas Morgan to be executor of my last will and Testament.
