"Lucy Hughes married John Roberts at Cilcain 25 August 1696. She was the daughter of Hugh Kenrick of Cilcain whose will was probated 7 Feb 1704/5. He lists his children. His brother Robert Kenrick left a will 1709/10 and names his nephews and nieces, including Lucy. I have extracts of these wills in SLA 15 notes. From Hugh Kenrick's will we learn that in 1704/5 John and Lucy Hughes Roberts were living in Nannerch. From Nannerch bishops' transcripts I got the following Children of Lucy and John.
7 Feb 1707/8 James and Sarah Twins of John & Luce Roberts Bapt
9 Feb 1707/8 Sarah, d. of John Roberts Buried
31 May 1713 William, s. of John & Luce Roberts Bapt
3 Nov 1717 Elizabeth, d. of John & Luce Roberts " 3 Nov 1723 A child of John Roberts of Kilken Buried
This indicates John Roberts had moved back to Cilcain but brought his child's body to Nannerch to be buried beside others of his family, but it could mean that another John Roberts, possibly his son had brought his child's body from Kilken to be buried." Howard Sharp Bennion
