These sealings were all approved by Ray Christianson S.L. Temple 1st Marriage: Marriage License of James C. Taffinder and Martha Caroline Iley filed in Austin County, Texas, (copy in the possession of Natalie Lloyd). Point Oak Point, Austin, Texas; was named from timber along a bend of San Bernado River, was settled about 1850 by German families engaged in raising cotton and livestock.
