                   At the marriage of Rebecca Davis and Henry Powell, Rebecca is
listed as be- ing from Bishops Frome.  The record of Bishops
Frome shows the family of Edward Davies and Mary having a
child, Elizabeth, christened in 1703 and then the burials of
Edward Davies and Mary Davies in 1750 and 1729 respec- tively.
This showes that they have moved in from another parish for work
with several children and had their last child christened in
this parish. They stayed there until their deaths.  This would
make Rebecca from Bishops Frome at her marriage in 1716 even
though she was not christened their.  The Edward Davies family
is the only Davies family in Bishops Frome at the time of
Rebecca's marriage in 1716 so it is assumed that she is there
daughter.
Bur  Both Husband and wife were listed as paupers at burial.
