The company was including 50 saints some of whom were retuned missionaries. The voyage took six weeks and landed in New Orleans. They steam boated to St. Louis and on to Council Bluffs. It was hard and they suffered from chilles and fever. They buried thier dear mother on the hillside in council Bluffs. The sons traveled on arriving in Salt Lake.
