William MEASOM
William entered a shoemakers shop as a young man believed to be orphaned and asked if he could apprenice and learn the trade. The shop was in London when food was scarce and orphans were taken out of the country to start new lands. In Alma Tilleys search he was told he was an orphan but I am not sure proof of these things were ever presented to him.
