Ann, d. of John Borrodell, or Borrowdale, wh. gave her a house in Cork, Ireland; but he came back to R. had John, b. 14 June 1646; Ann, 20 May 1649; was freem. 1648, and some two or three yrs. after went to Pequot, as New London was call. there had George, 1652; William, 1655; Borrodell, 1657; Margaret, 1660; and Mary, 1670, who. d. 1671; all bapt. 1670; was a capt. 1653, and much disting. in Philip's war as a skilful and enterpris. commander. He d. 23 Oct. 1694, at Hartford; in his will of 20 Nov. 1693 names John, George, William, beside ds. Sarah, w. of Thomas Stanton, Hannah, w. of Joseph Saxton, Ann, w. of Gershom Palmer, Margaret Brown, and Borrodell, w. of Samuel Stanton. His wid. d. 26 Sept. 1712, aged 97 by the gr.stone.
