Swen Jacobsen's first wife was Anna Kristoffersdtr.

Swen sold the farm Aasen 21 July 1829 to Samson Samsonson.  One of the conditions in the land transfer was that the new owner take care of Jon Jonson and his wife as long as they lived.  They were the parents of his wife. His parents were dead.

John Jacobs was married to Elizabeth Coleman on October 27, 1853.
Elizabeth was the first of two wifes.  John was called by the brethern to marry Harriett Austin.  This was done the day after Elizabeth gave birth to their 8th child.  He provided a home for her just down the street from Elizabeth Coleman (his 1st wife).  He divided his time between the two women.  Each wife had 10 children.

He Americanized his name to John Jacobs from Jon Jakobson.
