NOTES:
    1. This Caleb Kimball (1647-1675) was slain with Capt. Lathrop on 18 Sep 1675 and his estate was divided among his father's children. Apparently, he had a son, Caleb, born before 1675, and this would be the Caleb II mentioned in "Our Folks Revisited", who came to Wells, Maine about 1700 and married Susannah Cloyes in 1704. This record does not indicate the name of Caleb's wife or any other children. Caleb was only 28 years of age when he was slain at Narrangansett by Indians.
    2. Caleb was married four times.
