NOTES: 1. Richard was a Deacon of the First Church and was prominent in town affairs. 2. He was an early settler of Wells and had a store in Kennebunk in 1730. 3. There are several Richard Kimballs in the Kimball line: (1) The Richard who came from England to America in 1634 (2) The second son of Caleb Kimball (3) The 1st son of Richard II, who died young (4) the 2ns son of Richard II, Richard IV (5) The son of Israel Kimball, Richard V. DEATH: Will proven 13 Jun 1781.
NOTE: The administration of Israel's estate was granted to Richard Kimball 4 Jan 1830 and mentions his widow, Eleanor, and his sons Jacob, Wilbraham and Stephen.
He married Hannah Shackley 6 Aug 1740 at Berwick, York, Maine . Hannah Shackley was born at Berwick, York, Maine 21 Apr 1713 daughter of Richard Shackley and Hannah Hodsdon .
