NOTES: 1. John and Mary emigrated to America in 1784 on the first emigrant ship that sailed from Belfast after the American Revolution. The voyage lasted 14 and a half weeks. The vessel had a drunken captain and was lost for weeks upon the ocean. They were in danger of starvation when another vessel came upon them, furnished them with aid and put them upon the right course. DEATH: Died from injuries received from a fall from a load of grain. OCCUPATION: Wheelwright
NOTES: 1. James came to America with his parents in 1784 and lived with them in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
NOTES: Mary and Thomas had 10 children, 7 who lived to adulthood.
He married Mary McMeans Abt 1770 at Tyrone, County Galway, Ireland . Mary McMeans was born at Tyrone, County Galway, Ireland Abt 1748 .
