                   NOTE:
    Emigration July 1, 1775 to Baltimore from Portglenone, Ireland they lived at "the Largy" a townland just north of there, along the waterside the river Bann. President Andrew Jackson's parents came from County Antrim, Ireland. Also Andrew Jackson's brother married a Crawford. The Jackson's emigrated to PA and then came to the Waxhaws.  Served in the 9th Inf. of NC during the Revolutionary War as a Captain under Maj. William Polk and Colonel Williams. Possibly killed in action.
    Possible parents: Hugh McCrory and Elizabeth Jane Elmore
