                   I found Phoebe Alice on the 1900 census in an apparent second marriage to Hugh A. Thornton.  They had been married three years but there were three children in the family all older than three years of age.  I found her in One World Tree married to James Thomas Parker who died in 1923.  I am assuming that she was divorced when she married Thornton although the census doesn't indicate a divorce or a second marriage.  The census also lists the three children as Thorntons when usually they would be listed as step children under their birth names.
