find a child....think name is Polly Peck daughter of Samuel Peck was born in Hartford the 27th day of October 1780......Could be Hartford,Conn but don't think so as Samuel was in Bethel in census of 1778. But child could have been born in Hartford, Windsor, Vermont in 1880....
Didn't they some times call Polly......Betsey?????.

regiment, 1775-79. He was born in Ervingshire, Mass.; died in Rockingham, Vt.
George Holmes (1761-1843) enlisted, 1777, under Col. Theophilus Cotton in the expedition to Rhode Island.
