From an interview with Richard Law (my uncle) on 1-3-80.  He said Laverne married a man by the name of Breuer. They had three children, 2 boys and 1 girl.  Daughters name is Bonnie Barry (she knows Uncle Richard)(313) 399-3754..

"From 1st marriage to Franklin Lum (div) there were twin boys, one named Donald.  Donald had several children.  I think both twins were killed in accidents.  One ran into a underpass on Telegraph Rd., 5 miles West of Woodward Ave.,Detroit, Michigan.  The other twin died in an accident...train accident..when he tried to beat the train across crossing...train hit car...Uncle Richard said.... "  (This story doesn't match with Nanct Dill's rendition of how he died...if some research was done, the newspapers probably have the story..)

Hi Ellie,
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you.  I am presently working 40-55 hours/week in an Assisted Living facility as an aide caring for Alzheimers & other residents who need help.  Next year I will be cut down to 30 hours/week
due to S.S. income limit, so hopefully will have more time for myself.  I do, however, love my job  Right now I mostly work 3-11 shift, which I prefer, but limits my outside time considerably.
I talked to Uncle Glenn Friday & he was feeling chipper.  The staples in his legs cause him the biggest  tback...Uncle Glenn loves to be on the go & he has to discipline himself for a while.  Also talked to Aunt Helen.  He
was to be going home yesterday, but haven't had a chance to call again yet. 
       I can give you some info on LaVern Hoover, but for exact details, perhaps Uncle Glenn or Aunt Helen (Rennell) may be able to fill you in.  This is a story that can be complicated...hope you can follow me.  
Keep in mind, that when I mention aunts or uncles here they are brothers or sisters of my mom, Vera (Swindler) Dill & children of Opal (Law) & Leo Swindler.  Orpah & Opal were sisters.
Orpah's daughter LaVern (Hoover) was once married to Franklin Lum & they had only the fraternal twins, Donald & Morris.  LaVern & Franklin were divorced.  I believe she married again but that's all I know about her.
Franklin later married my aunt (Ethel) Marie after she was divorced from Tom (don't remember his last name).  This means he was first married to Orpah's daughter LaVern Hoover, then was married to Opal's daughter Ethel Marie Swindler until his death. 
Morris was married to a girl named (I believe) Ginnie.  I think they had 4 children quite close together.  He worked in the railroad yards in Detroit.  He Jumped off a train as it came into the yard, right into the path of an oncoming train & was killed.  He was quite young at the time (his children were still pre-school, I believe).  She moved to another state near her parents & didn't keep in touch after a short period of time. I don't know if anyone knows anything more about her or their children.  
Donald was somewhat a wild rebel.  I know he was married more than once & had children. I believe he had one by first wife & two by second.  Possibly more by other wives or girlfriends.  I lost track of him, but here is
where it may be hard for you to follow.  
Donald was killed (I would guess in his 40's, possibly older) in either an auto or motorcycle accident.  At the time he was married to Jeannie (don't know her maiden name) Swindler.  My Uncle Jerry (Gerald) Swindler, who
is presently married to Louise,  was earlier married & divorced from Jeannie & she is the mother to Uncle Jerry's 3 daughters, Carol, Susan & Diane. 
Even tho Aunt Marie was only a step-mom to Donald & Morris,  fun was had by telling her she was first a  sister-in-law, then a mother-in-law to Jeannie.  
Jerry & Jeannie's daughter, Diane was at the reunion with her boyfriend & I believe she also has e-mail.  She may be able to give you more info about Donald,  or get it from her mother for you.  Jeannie might even have info about Morris' family, having been married to Donald. 
I lost track of these girls (cousins) after Uncle Jerry's divorce from Jeannie because the girls were young & were with their mom.  The reunion was only the 2nd time I saw Diane in years.  If you got a list of the e-mail addresses after the reunion, you probably have Diane's e-mail.  
I can't pull up your other e-mails while working on this one, so I'll have to get back to you on the info you wanted there.  I know you mentioned something about Noel, brother to my Grandpa, Leo.  I don't know a lot, but know he was married to Beulah & they had a daughter, Barbara & a son (I think, Noel).  Uncle Glenn were close to them, so he could fill you in on them.  I know Aunt Beulah lived in Leesburg, FL  near Uncle Glenn & she died, I believe in April, 1996, at the age of 99.  Aunt Helen Rennell & Aunt Martha (mom's sisters) had stopped by here to see Mom on their way to MI & then stopped by Aunt Beulah's.  When they got there, Aunt Beulah had just died & the Coroner was there.  I believe it was the day before her birthday, but can't remember if she was turning 99 or 100.Seems it was on April 30th. Barbara lived close by & was her caregiver...the son in in another State. Glenn can tell you a lot...He loved & looked in on Aunt Beulah, when Barbara didn't stop him.
