NEWSPAPER

NOTES

Divorced Flora Anne in 1887. Had accumulated bad debts in the amount of over $2000.00 in the years before the divorce. Numerous individuals had taken him to court. Divorce indicates that he did not provide the necessities of food, medicine, clothing or other provisions for his children ages 14, 12 and 10 for at least three years and that his where-abouts were unknown. He may have been in Georgia, but his letter with the summons was returned unopened.

Dear Ellie,
PB and Inez were living together in the 1900 census and she died in 1901, so I do not think that they divorced. They had William Reed Holden living with them at the time.
He was Mary's father.
