Hi Dick,
It is my personal feeling that DRUSILLA BARNET is AARON BARNETT's
mother. It's circumstantial evidence but a stong indication of
relationship. Let me explain why. (we need to go after Barlett wills
to be sure.

#1 Alexander C. Holden & Nancy Ann Townsend's daughter, Eliza E. Holden
married Aaron Barnett, 18 Feb 1836 Harrison Co., Va Source: Marriage
Bond Records of Harrison Co.,Va by correspondance with Clarksburg, WV
Public Library...

#2 Aaron & Eliza Barnett name their first child: Drusilla.
Source: 1850 Census...Harrison Co., Va Aaron Barnet and Eliza & family
listed with children, one of which is: DRUSILLA 13 Va./ (b.1837)
I don't think you'd name one of your children Drusilla, as it didn't seem
to be a common name, unless you were naming that child after a relative.
(Drusilla must be married by 1860 Census as she isn't listed with Aaron
and Eliza in that census).

#3 Find Drisilla Barnet (the elder one) listed with the the Alexander C.
Holden household 1850 Census Harrison Co.Va:
Drusilla Barnett Bn Penn age 74.
He probably had her live with them after he lost his wife in 1848. She
only lives two additional years, as we find her buried at:

Center Branch Cemetery, next to Center Branch Church, near Clarksburg,
Harrison, W.Va.

Druzilla Barnet
died 4 Sept 1852, 76

Guess who else is buried there: Eliza E. Barnet (Aaron's wife),
died, 29 Jun 1864, 49 yrs.

What do you conclude?
