DEATH:  May have died 7 September 1869.
HISTORY: Died of TB contacted  while serving in the 5th KY Calvary where he
was a buglar during the Civil War. He also went AWOL once to visit his wife.
The family farm was taken over by carpet baggers and Sarah, her parents and 3
children moved to Daviess Co Missouri. Four brothers also killed in Civil War.
Pension says birth 1841 and is incorrect.
May be one in war record listed Co D 2nd Ky Calvary-private confederate.
