His inventory "that is inStoughton...sundries at CastleWilliam" mentions "sundry sorts of woman'sapparell.  He married AbigailCox who is supposed to have died near 1749.He may be the William Petteewho married at Stoughton  17 Aug 1749Rebecca Carrill.
