                   Prominent businessman in Germantown, KY, had a large furniture manufacture company and tannery, also bought and shipped tobacco; at one time was very wealthy, but through security debts, lost a large portion of his fortune; one of most popular and best known men in this portion of Kentucky; very generous supporter of the Christian Church, of which he was a faithful and consistent member.
