Luke J. FALLON
Came to Lexington, Kentucky approximately 1878 at age of eighteen. Entered coal business acting as wholesale agent, later entering business for himself. At time of his death, was operating two coal yards in Lexington. Was kindly, courteous businessman and a devoted father. Was member of St. Paul Catholic Church; buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky. Obituary, Lexington Herald, 4 Septenber 1913, p.12.

Attended Dudley School, West Maxwell St., Lexington for two years, then attended St. Paul School; went to Morton High School, at E. Short St. and Walnut for three years, then went to Lexington High School. Began to work for Hal Price Headley in 1917, became farm manager and was trustee of a number of the Headley Trusts until his death. Joined Knights of Columbus in about 1919, and was member of the St. Paul Holy Name Society.
He married Anna J. Strohmann . Anna J. Strohmann was born at Cincinnati, Hamilton co, Oh, Usa 1862 .
