Notes provided by Steve Noon from the 16 Feb 84 'Stars and Stripes' magazine, geneology article. Originally from Bradninch, Eng, 11 miles N of Exeter, just off the A-38 near Cullompton . Bradninch is about 40 miles NE of Plymouth in the SE courner of Eng. Sailed to America before 1713; Came to America, from England, in 1712. He was dismissed from Quaker Church (Gwyned M M PA) in 1748 because he tolerated the marriage of 2 of his children (MOU) marrying out of the church membership. Their grave stones were standing until recently, because of depredation of souvenior-hunters, the stones have been enclosed in a strong steel cage as protection from vandalism.
