He was married to Mary Jones.Ê All this has been documented.Ê Mary VanMeter was married to a Nathan Shaw, but not this one.Ê If you check the birth dates you will see she was much older and could not have had all those children.Ê The information at DAR is incorrect.Ê Also, the marriage certificate for Nathan Shaw and Mary VanMeter states that she is a widdow.Ê I'm not sure what a stickler you are for "correct" info, but thought I'd let you know of the error.Ê The first children of Nathan Shaw, born 1740 are the children of Mary Jones. The latter children are those of Julianna Miller.
