Will date 2 March 1747/48 Abigail is named as his wife in the Will. I think this is a 2nd mariage but needs to be verified. Children are all mentioned in his Will along with the McCollock connection and that Elizabeth was deceased and was survived by three daughters. ____________________________________ 1748-8, March 2, Ward, George, Sr., of Big Timber Creek, Deptford Township, Gloucester Cp' Will of. Wife. Abigail. Sons- George, 1/2 of a tract near Rowell's Branch, and a cedar swampl David, the homestead place, 1/2 of land at Towell's Branch, a cedar swamp and my Proprietary Rights. My sons' heirs equally to have all land indicated. A bond )80 pounds) from James Valentine to be divided equally between my sons. Legacies to my own grandchildren ("excepting the children of McCollock"). Daughters- Mary, Hannah, Sarah and Martha, to have the residue of estate. "The trree grand, granddaughters of ny daughter Elizabeth McColloch, deceased, shall have a full share with my daughters aforesaid." Executors-son, George Ward and Abraham Inskip.
