                   \In 1708, her child was charged to Major Joseph Smith in whose houseshe had
been a servant.One LDS Family Group Sheet shows her as having married,as her
first husband, Major Joseph Smith. With the information noted above,I've
declined to enter the marriage because I have no proof it everhappened and
also have a representation that Major Smith was less than forthrightin his
relationship with Deborah. I hope someone proves my supositionincorrect.
