John Reverend COOKE, PILGRIM (M)

                   John shipped on the Mayflower with his father. He marrried SarahWarren. On
account of religious differences he removed to Dartmouth, of which hewas
among the first purchasers. He became a Baptist minister there. He wasalso
Deputy in 1666-68,1673 and 1681-83-86. John and his father were bothmembers
of the Plymouth Military Company in 1643. He died in Dartmouth after1694.
Reverend John COOKE is the son of one of the twenty-six approvedmembers of
the first Mayflower company from which they accept petition formembership in
the General Society of Mayflower Descendents.

Sailed on the Mayflower
He was the last male survivor from the Mayflower.  They had
six children.
