                   Born probably between 1530 to 1535.  He was living in 1599. Also b. 27MAY
1556. which is unlikely as he was shown as married in 1555 (25 JAN) to
Elizabeth.
The division of Michael's children between the two wives is somewhatdifferent
from what might be inferred from the Rev. Mr. Holding's book, becauseof the
discovery of the burial of the first wife, Agnes, early in 1562.  Thename of
the mother is not stated in the Edworth baptisms, but Elizabeth isstated as
mother of the two chidren, Gerard and Richard, who were baptised atStotfold.
We therefore assume that Elizabeth was mother of the other childrenwho were
born after 1562 and before the birth of Gerard in 1576, though itremains
possible that there was a second, unknown, wife between Agnes andElizabeth.
The removal of the family from Edworth to Stotfold occured between1571 and
