Died aged 96. Had 12 children. A farmer at Northampton, MA, Jedediah was hired to blow a trumpet to summon the townsfolk to meetings, the town having no bell (Strong family update, page 1). In 1674, a Martin Smith was fined twenty shillings for attempting to kiss Freedom, the wife of Jedediah (ibid.). Jedediah moved to Lebanon, CT in 1710, later moving to Coventry, CT to spend the remaining years of his life (ibid.). The record shows that he was not only the father of fourteen children, but also the stepfather to seventeen additional (ibid.).
