There is different version of this family line. This family line as given by Selena Orchard to Verna Stafford Stone in 1928 is:
1-Ralph Stafford, son of Calab Stafford and Amy Barnard, was born
on 30 June 1792 in Wethersfield, Vermont and died on 6 January
1878, at age 85.
Ralph married Margaret McColl, in 1825. They had five children:
Amy, Jane, Olive, Caroline, and Cyrus.
2-Amy Stafford was born in Shedden, Elgin, Ontario, Canada and
died in 1882.
2-Jane Stafford.
2-Olive Stafford was born in 1835 and died on 8 November 1903, at
age 68.  Married William Orchard.
2-Caroline Stafford.
2-Cyrus Stafford.
This does not entirely agree with Elgin County marriages records for Olive Stafford and Mary Jane Stafford whose parents are recorded as John and Margaret Stafford. (See the family of John B.
Stafford.) In this instance I have chosen to go with the contempory (primary) records and treat the rest of the information as suspect, pending further research.
