Orris Dee CASON

                   Erma attended high school in Mound City and Maitland MO, graduating in 1929.  She enrolled in the Platte-Gard Business College in St. Joseph, MO.  She lived with her Aunt Grace Straub for thirteen years.  She worked for a record company in California and in March 1942 she moved to Baltimore, MD where she was employed by the Social Security Administration.  In September 1950 she transferred to Kansas City, MO, and in March 1967 she retired and has traveled  extensively.

In 1938 Orris Dee, Edna and Denzil Cason were in an auto accident resulting in a severe brain concussion for father O' Dee and torn ligaments in Denzil's left arm resulting in loss of strength.  Denzil joined the Merchant Marines in early 1940's and today is an electrician.
Oris Dee and Edna May Cason lived on a farm until the late 1960's and retired to Mound City, MO.   The celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on March 22, 1961 and their 55 th anniversary on March 22, 1966.
