Land records of Dutchess Co., New York, indicate that on April 1, 1816, that John D. and Keziah Bull sold to Theron Budd of New York City land in NorthEast Town on Hamblin Brook, bought of Benjamin Hamblin and of Sam Pitkin. In 1833, John D. Bull sold land in the northern part of Stillwater, Saratoga Co., New York, to Elias Smith, relative of Lydia (Lawrence) Bull near old Baptist Church. Dr. John D. Bull was buried in Union Cemetery located in Stillwater, Saratoga Co., New York. He was transferred to Union Cemetery from Presbyterian Cemetery. John D. Bull was a founding member of the Saratoga County Medical Society in New York in 1806. He was elected as the Society's first President. The following biography (edited) of Dr. Chauncey D. Bull was prepared by Mary Louise B. Todd: Dr. Chauncey Dickenson Bull graduated from Fairfield Medical College on January 21, 1827. He first practiced medicine at Fort Ann, Columbia Co., New York, later moving to Schuylerville, Saratoga Co., New York, by 1830. In 1831, Chauncey was serving as a surgeon's mate. By 1850, Chauncey was in Stillwater, Saratoga Co., New York, and in 1856, he was living north of the village on the main raod to Schuylerville. Chauncey was a Presbyterian.
