                   Shadrach wilbore received in his father's will the house and
land in Taunton where Samuel dwelt.  Shadrach served for nearly
33 years as town clerk of Taunton.  In 1687, during the Andros
regime, he was imprisoned in boston for a time for scandalous,
factious and seditious writing.  His will was proved 1 March
1697/8 and the inventory was taken 23 February 1697/8.  In it he
mentions his wife Hannah and her unnamed children in Braintree,
the [unnamed] wife and child of his son Samuel deceased; sons
John, Eliezer and Benjamin; daughters Sarah Hathaway; grandson
Samuel Wilbore; and land given to son John by his uncle Joseph.
