George Smith PATTON

George, a prominent attorney in Los Angeles, read to his son George Jr. the works of Homer and Shakespeare, as well as the Bible. He lived through the Civil War years and was a good friend of Col. John Mosby, the heralded Grey Ghost of J.E.B.Stuart's cavalry.
