Ò1880 census spelling indicated two spellings (THURMAN Turman) I have not located any other reference to the Thurman name. However, earlier the name was spelled Tureman. Also on that census was a Leuis H. Thurman, b. in Hanover. Family info is that the family came from Germany.Ó
