Indianland) Church cemetery by Rev. Frederick Wilhelm Meendsen, who noted in his records, "Buried widow Heffelfinger at Indianland". There is no marker on her grave. Margaretha died intestate. The administrator of her estate was her son, Joseph Heffelfinger. The sureties on the bond of administration were Elias Heffelfinger and Jacob Kleppinger, all farmers of Lehigh Twp. Margaretha's estate was inventoried 12 March 1827. Documents in file show she was the widow and relict of John Heffelfinger, deceased. (Estate file #3843 and orphans court book 10, pg. 458, Northampton County Government Center, Easton, PA) Northampton Co. orphans court: 1. M3-27, 24 May 1828: David Heffelfinger, son of Margaret, having reached age 20, received from Joseph Heffelfinger, $11.28, his share of Margaret's estate. 2. M3-28, 27 May 1828, Henry Heffelfinger, son of Margaret, received $11.28. 3. M3-118, 23 February 1829: Nancy, daughter of Margaret, received $11.58. 4. M3-272, 14 January 1830: Mary, wife of Abraham Arner, daughter of Margaret, received $11.58. 5. M3-273, 4 September 1828: George, son of Margaret, received $11.58. 6. M3-273, 5 January 1830: Hannah Rockel, wife of George, daughter of Rebecca (Margaret), received $11.58. 7. M3-274, 6 July 1829: Jacob, son of Margaret, received $11.58.
