Myrtle G. Benedict
Mrs. Myrtle G. BENEDICT, 80, former Mexico resident, died at 10:10 a.m.
Saturday in the Wabash county hospital at Wabash. She had been ill two
months.
Born Aug. 29, 1888, in Cass county, she was the daughter of Albert and
Mary Ann JOHNSON McHENRY. Her marriage was in 1906, to Isaac Lake
BENEDICT. He died in 1960. Mrs. Benedict had been a resident of Miami
county 39 years, moving from Cass county.
Surviving are two sons, Lloyd BENEDICT, Denver, and Donald BENEDICT, of
Marion; two daughters, Mrs. Walter LOSHER, R.R. 1, Denver, and Mrs. Isaac
FISHER,R.R. 2, Peru; ten grandchildren and twenty-five
great-grandchildren.
Finalrites will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Flowers-Leedy funeral
home in Peru. The Rev. Oakley MASTEN will officiate. Burial will be in
the Greenlawn cemetery at Mexico. Friends may call at the funeral homa.
