                   Record of search by James R. Cunningham of the British Mission dated 27 Oct 1952.  Searches made in Wyndham Parish with no results.  Then requested info from Wymonndham Parish banns with the following info: "The Vicar quoted the banns, which gave James as 'of this parish, bachelor', and Mary of 'off this parish, spinster.'  We do know if Mary was Christened there; therefore, it seems probable that James came from elsewhere and only lived or stayed in Wymondham at a later period.  (The Vicar checked Christenings 1750 - 1756 without charge, but no entry was found.  Next, we [wrote] to a few of the parishes around wymondham for this christening, period 1746 - 1756:
