«/b»Timothy Hallett, son of Jonathan, owned and resided in the dwelling-house now occupied by Mr. Eldridge Lovell of Yarmouth.  He was a farmer, and a very respectable man.  He married, first, 18 Feb 1719-1720, Thankful Sturgis, who died at the birth of her first child - still born - 10 Jan 1721 and both were buried in the same grave.  Second, to Elizabeth, daughter of Deacon Moses Hatch of Falmouth.  She died 23 oct 1744, aged 44 years, and he married 23 May 1745, thankful Jones of Barnstable, his third wife.  He died as recorded on his grave stones, 24 Jan 1771 in the 19th year of his age.  His grandson Benjamin made the following record in his family bible; "My grandfather Timothy Hallett died 7 July 1770, in the 66th year of his age." "My grandmother Elizabeth Hallett died 23 October 1744, aged 44 years."

«b»Genealogical Notes of Barnstable Families - Pg. 521«/b» - Child of Timothy Hallett and Elizabeth Hatch - Moses Hallett - was born in Yarmouth 20 April 1729.  He married four wifes: 1) Phebe Hamblin in 1751 died 8 Nov 1769 - 2) Elenor Hamblin died 7 Sept 1771 aged 38 - 3) Lydia Goodspeed in 1772 died 16 Feb 1791 aged 53 and Betty Crowell, a daughter of Ephraim.  He died 14 Dec 1809 aged 80 years and at the time of his death had only one unsound tooth.  His widow survived him several years.  He had the following children:  James, Elizabeth, Mary, Abigail, Timothy, Phebe and Keziah.

Joshua Hallett, now liming (1858) says he does not recollect of having heard his father say he had a brother James.  On the family register, the birth of Joshua is recorded in the year 1737, which corresponds with the record of his age at his death.)

His housem yet remaining, is the most westerly on the north side of the County road in Yarmouth.  He married Dorcas Eldridge.  He died 19 August 1821, aged 84 and his wife 26 April 1813, aged 72 years.

He was a deacon of the Yarmouth church, and his family, as well as his brother Joshua's, are long lived.  He married in 1761 Elizabeth Eldridge.  He died 5 Oct 1814, aged 72 yrs and his widow 1 March 1831, aged 86 years.
