Carl was living with his son Roger in Roy,Utah before his death.  He died at
the McKay Dee hospital in Ogden,Utah of a lung disease contracted while
working in the mines in Telluride,Colorado.  This is where he met and married
Elva Rogers.  She was living with her sister (Probably Mabel) and had her
daughter Delphine with her who was just a babe in arms according to the
information supplied by Carl's sister Marie Maisak Gartner Binkele who was also
living in Telluride at the same time Carl was.

Elva had gone to visit her sister Mabel Rogers and husband Ed. Davenport and
died while there.  Family said she had Cancer of the female organs but death
cert indicated heart disease and Hepatitis.

There is a question on the spelling of Elva's middle name. We used the spelling
on her death cert. Marine.

Aunt Marie's husband August Gartner was killed in the mines at Telluride and
the families moved back to Tremonton,Utah where Roger's oldest sister Pearl was
born and died in Feb. of 1919.
